My relationship with the Danilo family began when I was very young. Having recognized my creativity and passion for art, they opened the doors to the world of design for me.

My relationship with the Danilo family dates back to when I was a little girl. We have been brothers and sisters in Christ for many years, and that is where our friendship developed and began to take shape. As the years went by, after they noticed my creativity and passion for art, they decided to take me on as an apprentice in the design and advertising department of their company, Danilos Pura Piel. They opened the doors for me to the world of design and the creation of unique handbags that have made a difference in the history of Honduran fashion. Danilos taught me a great deal about design, color combinations, and photography. Above all, they also made it a point to instill essential values in work ethic, such as responsibility, honesty, integrity, and fairness.

My first project as a design apprentice at Danilos Pura Piel came about with the arrival of the renowned international blogger Alexandra Pereira, from the blog Lovely Pepa

. For this project, I was in charge of the preliminary design for Alexandra’s custom handbag. Once the sketch and preliminary concept were approved, the design team and I took charge of organizing the color combinations and leather patterns that would be used for the final product.

For my second project, “Our Community

,” my initial sketch was inspired by the natural beauty of my second home, Roatán. The island’s reefs are world-renowned—I’m so proud!

As an artist, my talent has always been nurtured at Danilos. They’ve helped me channel my creativity in different ways. From a simple sketch to creating designs, concepts, artwork, and advertising campaigns, they’ve been there every step of the way in the development of my creativity. It’s an honor for me to be part of this, since, in my opinion, Danilos Pura Piel is one of the few companies that genuinely promotes Honduran talent and strives to be better and more innovative every day.
